Episode 4: When My Health Fell Apart

Has been pretty good.

I mean, I haven't had really any bad health problems.

Not that I can think of.

Shoot, I've been pretty healthy.

I've tried to work out.

You know, you get on yourself for not working out as much.

And my wife is a workout freak.

fiend.

She's a freak.

And in a good way, she's really, really athletic.

She works out all the time.

At the beginning of our marriage, I really wasn't motivated enough to do the workouts that she was doing or work out as much as she was doing.

So my health overall throughout my whole life has been pretty good.

I've had some back problems that have given me a lot of problems and issues over the years.

But But overall, it's been pretty good.

And I was working in a career that I knew like the back of my hand.

I would go to work.

I knew what I had to do.

Stories, anchoring.

I mean, that's all I did, right? I knew how to do that job.

And the stress of that job, while from the outside may have seemed like a lot to people that don't understand it, for me, it wasn't any stress at all.

Sure, you had your moments trying to make deadlines, video coming in late, trying to make the show.

I still to this day, by the way, one of my biggest nightmares that I have, we all have like reoccurring nightmares.

And one of my biggest nightmares is arriving to the set late and missing my hit as an anchor.
