Rebuilding regeneratively after a wildfire with Anni Tilt and David Arkin

My grandmother purchased the land in 1958.

The original version of this house and the other one were built in 1965.

You know my whole life I've been coming up here.

We didn't always live in the states but whenever we were here we came up regularly.

There were always other family members here Sometimes you knew they were coming, sometimes you didn't know.

And then, you know, a chance meeting with someone and you met their friends and then your friends with their friends.

And so it kind of created a community all in itself.

The land was purchased by Annie's grandmother in the 1950s.

And that's David Arkin, the Arkin in Arkin Tilt Architects.

And then in 1964, she had built a cabin here.

And together with other family members, we share the property.
