101- Buddy

It got all the buzz because...

Essentially, it does.

It mimics Barney and Friends and a couple of things.

So a lot of parents didn't really look too good into this movie.

And I guess they couldn't see that giant restricted, you know, label in the corner of the poster.

And so, you know, they were attached to their phone or whatever.

So they took, you know, little Billy and Sandy to

go see Buddy because it's great.

And yeah, it was like Sausage Party when Sausage Party came out.

Everybody's like, oh, it's a cartoon.

And they immediately took their kids and they realized, oh, this is an adult animated movie.

This is not for kids.

And then, I'm sorry, but if you're not doing research into what your kid's watching or what you're going to take your kids to watch...

Not a very good parent.

You've got to look into these movies, man.

Yeah, because they're going to market it, basically, to reach that demographic.

It's like Winnie the Pooh.

You read Winnie the Pooh, but then it's like Blood and Honey Part 2.

And then it's like, oh, wait a minute.

Maybe there's something I need to red flag.

But no. Yeah, because it's kind of marketed towards the nostalgia of people who watched those shows back in the 90s.

So it's like, hey, here's a little nostalgia pull.

Yeah, but those people are now like

27, 28 years old.

So yeah, absolutely.
