I used to remember...

I kind of remember watching the original Thomas the Tank Engine, where it was just, like, the play model and not, like, the animations and stuff.

We can't just generally be hollering at each other because I'm upset.

Kids grew up listening, uh, uh, watching and reading, um, Thomas Audry's book, books about, uh, Thomas the Tank Engine.

I wanna thank George Carlin for costing me tens and tens of thousands of dollars, um, but that's another story.

And in, in using that, I know there was one thing that I, I used, is that in the British idiom, uh, to upset your train cars is not something, you know, you hear, "Oh, the train cars crashed, and everything spilled out." But in Audry's books, he would say, "Oh, Thomas, you've upset your coal cars." And, and, uh, it gave me the opportunity to point out the root of the word upset is g- you're letting everything spill out of you.

I even remember Barney coming to a birthday party once or twice when I was younger.

But again, if Barney wasn't your thing, certainly shows like Blue's Clues, Thomas the Tank Engine, I think of even Mr. Rogers even to an extent, though that's quite a little bit different than sort of the anthropomorphized characters like Barney.

Think of Sesame Street, sort of these... larger-than-life characters, again, usually animals who come to life and teach kids lessons, and there's usually a song, and it's all very sunshine and roses and happy talk.

Well, there is something I think inherently creepy.
