And you might say, "What the heck is it?" Well, SynthID Detector is an AI-generated content identifier.

So what it does is let's say you went to Sora, or you went to, uh, Chat Image or, you know, any of these things to create an image.

Well, using this tool, SynthID Detector, it would tell you that this was AI-generated, or that it was done by a VFX shop, or some g- very talented artist with Illustrator or Photoshop or, uh, whatever the new art craft tool is that came out.

So was it made by humans basically, or is this AI-generated? So that's the whole thing that it does.

You upload a file to be checked on whether it contains any of the SynthID digital watermarks.

I don't know if you ever n- if you ever knew this, but if you create a file in Photoshop or when you take a picture on your digital camera, there's a whole bunch of embeddings in the file.

So when you, uh, create a Photoshop image as an example, the PSD, if you just look at the raw stuff in the PSD, it'll say, "Made by Photoshop." It'll even say what version.

If you take a picture, uh, on your phone camera, in some cases you'll even get the latitude and longitude of where the image was taken, plus what the settings were for the, for the camera, what format it was or- it's in, JPEG or RAW or whatever.
