I didn't know this until prepping this video, but there is a movie called Matchbox the Movie, which is inspired by Matchbox Cars, which is hitting Apple TV Plus on October 9th.

It's from Sam Hargrave, the director of the Extraction Films, and it stars John Cena, who plays a spy who, after reuniting with a group of childhood friends who all used to play Matchbox Cars together, are forced to speed around in real cars to save the world from a nuclear threat.

The Matchbox connection seems to be tangential based on the trailer.

This is like if they had called The Fast and the Furious Corona the movie, but it's still called Matchbox the movie, so yay, another toy movie.

And finally debuting on October 9th is Avatar Seven Havens on Paramount+.
