Welcome to episode one of On the Record, the Elite Running Podcast.

We're gonna discuss everything from elite running, industry news, competition, and training.

I'm Rob Vermillion, a little Colorado State track and field alum, Nike Farm Team alum, and the voice of track and field in-stadium throughout the United States.

I'm Pete Julian, head coach and director of Union Athletics Club.

We are a world-class training club specializing in the 800 all the way up to the marathon.

We are based out of Boulder, Colorado, and currently I am calling in from Xiamen, China, in between the Diamond Leagues.

And I'm Tim Riley, proud Eastern Oregon University alum, track and field alum, I should say.

I'm also a neuroscience PhD from Washington State University.

I'm a husband, dog and cat dad, and former track and field coach with over 15 years of experience at the Division I level.
