Note to ourselves, all these IML League recaps we should put... race video in i was trying to pull up that video and it wasn't in our recap but i think this the world ultimates is a huge deal for two americans and this other american i completely forgot about and that is donovan brazier but miller took a break We had big expectations.

But the talk in Lausanne was like, can he get the American record? And he runs like, what, second off of it, 142.5? Yeah.

So

Maybe you could have flown out for the long weekend and been able to race.

But the other guy is a guy who last year at the World Championships I had big expectations for.

I thought he might make the medal stand, and that was Donovan Brazier.

His comeback last year was one of the greatest stories in the history of the sport.

What an absolute throwback.

Leo Manzano, the silver medalist in the 1500, and then Donovan Brazier and Bryce Hoppel.

That's kind of throwback, too, in Monaco in 2020.

It seems like Brazier and Hoppel, they're both pretty young still, so I'm not gonna say they're past their primes, but they definitely haven't been on the top of the US 800 scene this year.

Well, the reason why maybe it was a point of concern was because up until today, Donovan Brazier was on the bubble.

He would've been the guy who if the two guys in the field, I'm looking at, uh, Tobias Gronstad from Norway, 143 guy, or Yannis Meziyan from-

I think actually it's also Elliot Crestan as well, because Elliot Crestan got into this Diamond League final on merit rather-

I think that he would do really well.

We've stuck Donovan Brazier on a 4x4 before.

So it's like, it's not completely out of the question, okay? It's not completely out of the question.

But who do you guys want to see switch some things up and show that range off? All right, go ahead and comment.

We have multiple guys in the eight and the 15 who can win Diamond Leagues.

You've got Brazier, Luckinhouse, Br- oh, Brandon Miller, whoa, he m- might be number one in the world, or Luckinhouse.

Um, Josh Hoey, does anyone remember Josh Hoey? The guy broke a world record indoors, hasn't even been heard of since, and we're like, "Oh, next man up," and the, and the next man up is just crushing it.

If you told me at the start of this year Hoey and, um, Brazier will be doing nothing, I guess I would've had hope for Luckinhouse, but I wouldn't have thought Brandon Miller was doing what he's doing.

And then in the 15, r- and you had all of these guys last year, and we actually had Jonah Kowich as well, and this is where drug cheats get in the way because Ethan Strand would've been your 1500 meter champion last year if it wasn't for Jonah Kowich, who was popped for blood doping.

Still says he's innocent, but signed a confession.
