So if you listened to last week's episode, you would've heard that we were going to a hotel and we were going to a charity game and we were doing this, that, going for dinner.

None of it ended up happening because Uncle Pat had a emergency appendix removal surgery.

So basically, about four months ago- 'Cause I checked my camera roll, 'cause I took a screenshot when it happened.

And at 4:00 AM in March, Uncle Pat wakes up beside me, "Oh my God, I'm in so much pain.

So of course, I'm straight on ChatGBT being like, "This is my boyfriend's symptoms," like, "What's happening?" Da, da, da.

And usually Chat is like, "Oh, calm down," like, "Everything's gonna be fine." But Chat was like, "You need to go to A&E." So I was like, "Oh my God," like really worried.

But I was like, "Um, you need to go down and ask your granny," because I am s- a young little girl and I can't make decisions.

So he went down to her, and she was like, "Look, take, uh, painkillers, get a hot water bottle, and see if it's eased up by the morning." Because he knew he'd be sitting in A&E for 12 hours, like, and you just...

Like, who wants to do that? And he was also afraid that it was just, like, a stomach bug or, like, something stupid, and he didn't wanna go to- go down to A&E and them be like, "Nothing's wrong with you." So anyways, I went away the next day and everything was totally fine.

And then the other morning, it was Friday morning, woke up in his house at about 7:00 or 8:00 AM, and same thing again.

I was like, "It has to be your appendix." Now, my uncle had a similar situation at Christmastime, so I texted my cousin Anna the first time this happened, being like, "What was your dad's symptoms?" She told me, and I was like, "That's exactly what it sounds like." So anyways, he goes to A&E.

I had an event that morning, and obviously I was like, "I don't wanna go to the event," like, "I feel bad," but he was like, "There's no point in you sitting in A&E with me for 12 hours." Like, "I'll get my mam and dad to come with me." I was like, "Grand." So I went to the event.
