Noah Eagle: From Syracuse Classmate to Calling the Biggest Games in Sports

First, starting off with tip of the cap of the week.

And usually the tip of the caps of the week so far in the short three month history of this show have been revolving around someone in sports media, maybe someone who's retiring or is getting a promotion.

But the person we're giving a tip of the cap to the week this week is actually not in the sports media world.

It was someone who is in the college football coaching universe.

And for that, we go down to SEC Nation and it is Auburn head coach, Alex Golesh.

Alex Golesh coming over from the University of South Florida.

Shout out the Bulls.

He hosted a first time event for members in Auburn's Eagles program and the Lee County Special Olympics to simulate a Tiger game day for athletes.

So it was under the lights.

It was in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Eagles program is, I quote, a comprehensive transition program for students with intellectual disabilities.

So a really special opportunity for these young people to get really close up to an Auburn football team that has a storied tradition and history.

So shout out to Alex Golish for putting that together.

And that alone deserves a tip of the cap.

However, one of his interviews went viral because he allowed one of those Eagles students to interview him during media availability.

It was awesome.

And I'm going to play the entire minute and a half-ish clip that will be both heartwarming and will fire up Auburn Tiger fans.

Here you go.

People in the community, man, it's special.

Can I interview?

Yeah, you got a question? I want to

interview.

Okay, what do you

got? What's your name?

My name is Alex Golish.
