besides there are plenty of other podcasts whose hosts get paid to go into detail about new apple devices first let me say these apple produce event videos are of a quality that could be compared to anything produced by hollywood My wife even commented during the opening sequence asking, is this a movie? That's how good it was.
Former CEO Tim Cook even had a surprise cameo at the beginning, which served to turn things over to new CEO John Ternes.
Mr. Ternes, who in my opinion comes off as a no-nonsense type of guy, which is a good thing, gave an opening speech about AI-powered home hubs.
At this point, I thought he was getting ready to introduce Apple's rumored Amazon Echo competitor.
Wrong.
Now that... would have been a surprise
what he was actually talking about was the iphone itself specifically the new iphone 18 pro sort of strange but okay the 18 pros were then introduced and besides the mechanical aperture settings for the main camera and of course the obligatory chip bumps the only other thing of interest was the new colors the pros will come in with the burgundy color getting the most attention In real life, it looks like a dark red to me.
As far as the design of the new models, there wasn't much difference between last year's models or even our current Series 10 watches.
With the recent breakthrough on that feature, which I've reported on previously, I'd wager it's coming more sooner than later.
I'll put that in the book.
