On the topic of the future of disc less gaming, I, I, I was really, really hoping to, to have a discussion with Chris about this, which we may well do when he comes back if it's still, still such a hot button issue.

But I, I, I did think it was a little funny with how, like, the announcement was being referred to as, like, a great shock and, uh, and a betrayal of the gaming fan base.

Like, it, it just, it, I mean, it was, it was absolutely on the cards for the next generation already.

It was, I think it was just, like, which, which company announced it first, you know? Uh, I mean, I, I play a huge amount of physical games.

I, I wouldn't, you know, be able to play anywhere near as many games as I do play if I wasn't able to buy them and trade them in and use that credit to buy something else.

But I, I, I also fe- found it [chuckles] I found it funny that there were some people saying, "All right.

I'm, I'm gonna, I'm gonna boycott the PS6 and switch to PC gaming instead." Uh, which has obviously been, uh, entirely digital only for many, many years now.

But I think if the digital only gaming thing is going to succeed, then there needs to be, certainly for me, a sense of ownership given to the consumers that, that isn't currently there, starting with a guarantee that they will own their digital release forever, uh, and that it won't be at risk of being delisted.

I don't know how, how that would work with things like music licensing rights that expire, um, that sort of stuff.

But, like, if you buy something, it should be yours, uh, to keep should you want to.

Uh, should you not want to, then hopefully there'd be some sort of digital marketplace for reselling digital games.

And again, I have absolutely no idea how that would actually work, uh, where the money would go.

I would hope that if it were an issue, there would be some sort of sell-on clause type setup for, for devs or smaller devs, so they're not missing out on sales that would be, you know, be really, really valuable to them.

But, like, even- Even just tarting up like your, your, your menu on like your PlayStation or something, just having like a digital shelf to browse and, and order your games.

But one of them does that where you can basically like pick the games off a shelf and reorganize them and put them into, you know...
