interesting um what else there was something else i was going to talk to you about oh spencer pratt is no longer in the running to be the mayor of los angeles which is amazing but that sparked all this controversy about why was he up so much in the beginning but then when they started counting they started finding all of these votes for the democrats and it was like you don't really understand how voting works in california and how voting is counted do you because it happens like this all the time it looks like the red the republicans doing fine because the the demographics of people that do the voting the day of are swing more towards Republican and most mail in ballots and like drop off ballots that can't be counted until after the day of ballots get counted, swing more towards Democrats than Republicans.
So he was never going to make it because there's it's over, like, I think 70% of Los Angeles are registered Democrats who are never going to vote for a Republican.
Mm
hmm.
So he was never going to make it into the general anyway.
Or the, yeah, the general, because that was the primary election.
But it's just like, everybody's talking about how, oh, they're always rigged.
And it's like, it's not that they're rigged.
It's just that just like in most very red states, California and most sections where there's a lot of people in California is blue.
And that's just how the voting works.
Yeah.
Yep.
Like in Indiana, you can't say that there's not enough people that are not happy with the fact that it's been ran by Republicans for the last however many years.
And it's one of the most unhappy states to live in.
I mean, yeah.
You know what is very interesting? I actually I was talking with a coworker and we were talking about the difference in size between California and Texas because I was saying California has a bigger population, which is true.
But in the grand scheme of things, it's not that big of a difference.
Yeah.
It's like 7 million people, something like that.
7 or 8 million people.
Yeah.
