Congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes and former Blues draft pick, Rod Brendamore.

Jake, I know this was one of your teams that you selected to win the Stanley Cup Finals.

After so many years... of choosing the Carolina Hurricanes to win the Stanley Cup Finals.

But ultimately, I'm happy for them because that's an organization that's done things the right way.

They remind me a lot of what we strive to be year in, year out, and that's just a team, a real team of guys that love playing with each other and love playing for their market.

And it's good to see them finally rewarded after years of struggle and not being able to get over the hump.

I think that was a popular pick, right? I mean, I think everyone just felt like, yeah, that's Vegas.

And well, yeah, they were looking the part, you know, but but this was this was Carolina's time.

It was it was honestly a thing of beauty and art, you know, and yeah, mad respect.

And I think what makes it so unique, too, is like the longevity of Ron Rod Brindamore behind the behind the bench after so many kind of short playoff runs.

I mean, they've had a lot of long, deep playoff runs, but then they get swept or something like that or they get bounced a little bit early.
