Is there a story behind the clean body, no smell sticker? Or is it just hilarious because it's

So I think the good thing about that sticker is that it both works when you don't know the story and when you do know the story.

Grant Peterson of Rivendell, the owner and creator of Rivendell Bicycle Works, publishes a... blog called The Blug it's like B-L-U-H-G and it's where he goes in depth on a lot of different stuff and it's kind of just like his ramblings one of his ramblings was it was like qualities we look for in prospective employees and And there was like 15 different things and a lot of it was kind of like boilerplate and obvious.

And it was funny because he was like, well, we're not hiring, but if we were, this is what we'd look for.

And one of them, I can't remember which number it was, but one of them was clean body like no.

I mean, clean body, no smell was basically the gist of it, but it had a few more words in there.

There's a little bit more explanation and um i decided to make a sticker out of it because i thought like oh that it's funny like to see it and you don't know what it is yeah it's like fine but then knowing the backstory is funny too

and like right when that blog post came out i made the sticker and everyone it was cut like it was kind of like an infamous post because some of the stuff was like a little questionable oh yeah um we don't need to get into get into that like love rivendell love grant uh but yeah just couldn't resist making a sticker for that

yeah we just hired someone we should put that as their employment agreement yeah it's kind of

like why do you have to say that like isn't that just assumed yeah but fair enough eccentric

it gets so hot in that warehouse like oh really like walnut creek gets super hot and they don't have ac so
