Bolinas

You were all the places that are right next to me.

We're like, you were in June and then you're up in like Bolinas or something.

And like, uh, which I can't make.

And then you're somewhere else.

Kind of wiped me out.

And then I went to Bolinas Monday, Tuesday, and we did some like kid riding around there.

So like I was pushing my daughter, like she has a little bike and I was pushing her up some hills and stuff.

And like, hurting my back doing that.

But for example, her house is currently being restored, and we were just able to walk around and peek a little bit and try to figure out what kind of minimalist environment she had there, because this was pretty much as close to survivor as you can get.

It was also very much the Bolinas ethos of do everything yourself.

It was a very Spartan environment.

She lived like a writer.

So even with the limited resources that she had on hand, for example, like no electricity, I

I think, yeah, there was no electricity, no running water.

I think especially at first, if we compare it to Bolinas, it was even more extreme because the elevation is probably, I don't know, 800 feet at least.

So it's a hill and it's really hard to reach.

Where were you guys going? I'm just curious, uh, as a family, what beaches were you going to?

Like Stinson and Bolinas.

We were big, like sea drift, uh, family.

I know you filmed the trailer in Northern California, but where? This was some of the most beautiful oceanfront land I've seen.

Where were you? We were in Northern California in a small town called Bolinas.

OK, Bolinas.

Well, a beautiful, untouched kind of place.

People should.

So I started teaching myself to juggle.

And I was living in a village called Bolinas, which was a kind of like an artistic community, really.

And Grace Flick lived there and a lot of the local people started putting together little festivals and shows.

And me and a few friends made a mine troop up.

That marine coast around Duxbury and Bolinas is just beautiful.

I was like, of course.

I like gasped and laughed so hard at this because we rented a house in Bolinas and I was like, dead.

Bolinas, like 1,500 people max.

Like tiny, tiny, tiny.

It's not even a town.
