Episode 384: AI Retribution

So yeah, still playing Onimusha.

That's still really good.

I think I'm almost... at the point where i'm going to do the last section but i'm going around and doing side quests now so i was like all right let me let's tie tie up loose ends get uh materials to upgrade my sword and my you know gauntlet and whatnot so yeah it's good it's that game's super good man It's a self-contained, you know, little open world area that you have, and then you have, like, separate, like, dungeon areas.

But for me, like, the highlight of that game is the boss fights.

The boss fights are so good.

And it's like, every time I play it, it's like I got to do, like, I can't wait for the next boss fight because they're

excellent.

That's where the game shines, like, really.

It's super good.

So, no, yeah, still highly recommend it.

I did talk to someone that works with us, and he checked out of Wolverine.

I don't know how that's going on with you.

Yeah, I just need to get time to play, but no one has talked to me yet about their experiences with the game.

There's someone, I think I know who you're talking about, but yeah, I...

It's not because I didn't enjoy playing.

It just really comes down to time.

I feel like this next stretch when I do make myself some time just to sit there, be on my couch, and just play some games, it's going to be nice to do that again here soon.

I will have a meaningful update probably next weekend, but we'll see, man.

Yeah.

The only other thing, last time we recorded, I showed the Ninja Turtles box set.

So we watched...

the first one which is like the big deal one the the big deal movie on that box that is the the original first movie that they re-scanned the um the 35 millimeter uh film and and they restored it and and did all the thing and that they added the atmos and all that um so very good so i've watched this movie a ton a bunch of times back in the day, a few times as an adult.

And it's incredible that I watched this movie last weekend, last Friday.

It was my birthday Friday, so I was like, let's do a birthday movie, right? And And it's crazy that I saw things that I hadn't seen before and I heard things that I hadn't heard before.

It's one of those like, oh, that's a cool detail here.
