Talking about, yes, the Michael J. Jackson Foundation, talking about the Pink Boot Society, and talking about your own experiences in beer that led you to this moment.

Any advice you would give to anyone who right now thinking, I might want to become a brewer.

How do I start? How do I begin? Would you encourage them to do it? Would you deter them from doing it given all the news we get from brew bound every day when we open up our emails and our inboxes right now? What do you think? What would you say to anyone who is deciding how to make a start in this industry?

If I may, I'll take the lead on this, and then, Blanca, you could kind of jump in.

was looking for a job, I figured that it has to be education and it has to be some type of networking.

No one is going to be searching for these circles if they don't really care about what's being made and what's being talked about, right? So it has to be passion driven.

And you also have to have like a group of people that align with what you think is cool, what you have.

And the reason why I kind of took the lead on this was because the circles that I kind of put myself in led me to Highland Park.

So it was a CCBA in Sacramento where Blanco was hosting an event for Pink Boots.

And I went up to Blanca and I was just like, Hey, I love everything that you're doing a way to support, uh, Mexicana and beer.

So from that point on, I was put on her radar to like, Oh, there's, there's a Mexican brewer out of Montebello, uh, brewing all sorts of beers.

And then eventually when Highland park was hiring, uh, uh, my name came up and I shot her a message on Instagram and said, Hey, like, is this still, still available? And she even got on my ass to be like, Hey, did you apply yet? Like she, and I was just like, I just saw the job description not too long ago.
