Vince Case Dismissed | Fallout From Redemption | Grading NXT Call-Ups | Episode #054

But let's go ahead and start off with some AEW stuff because Redemption did just happen a few days ago.

Very, very much so mixed reviewed pay-per-view.

For me personally, I thought it was a really dang good pay-per-view.

I know a lot of people weren't really feeling it as much.

It just didn't really...

I guess it didn't really give like that same vibe that a lot of the other AEW pay-per-views get.

And I do understand why it was a new pay-per-view.

You kind of needed a bit more of a redemption feel to it.

And there wasn't really that many storylines that had that redemption feel.

I would say, Paulette, the biggest one was Willow and Tekla.

And speaking of Willow and Tekla, what an absolutely amazing match.

I loved every single second of this match.

I thought that going into this, this had the potential to be the main event.

I know myself, along with a few others, are pretty upset that it's not the main event.

I think with everything that happened with Kenny and all of them, I do understand why that happened or why that was the main event.

Because it kind of does give like an end of show feel.

But I think that you have Willow and the celebration and all that stuff.

And I think that it just gives a much better feel, in my opinion.

But...

i you're gonna go back and forth on that one and i guess because they're in canada the the nod goes to kenny but i just i loved everything about the willow tecla match i thought it was a really really dang good match i love the story going into i think that for me that just ups the story or that ups the match even more i love the fact that willow is the first one to do so many different freaking things for AEW because she has been an absolutely incredible just wrestler for AEW.

She's been an absolute pinnacle for this woman's division.

She's been a force for this woman's division.

She is the first ever woman to be a triple crown champion in AEW with the Women's Championship, the TBS Championship, and the Tag Team Championships.

She's the first woman in AEW to win two titles in one year.

those being the tbs title and the tag title last year while also being the first woman in aw to hold three different aw women's championships in one year tbs title tag title the um the women's title and technically speaking she would be a grand slam champion as well because she is the owen heart cup winner as well she won that back and i want to say 2023 yeah because she won that before mariah may did um dang i wonder what happened to her man sad that she retired But just so many firsts for such an absolutely amazing talent.
