Drew McIntyre and Big E defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode via pinfall after Big E hit Roode with the Big Ending.

After brawling during their tag team match, McIntyre and E got along this week until after the match when they exchanged words.

So the, you know, they actually didn't implode on one another.

They did coexist.

So that's a rare feat when you have foes put in a match, a tag team match, that usually they implode in some capacity.

They didn't, and they functioned pretty well as a tag team.

Um, although I, I, and I said this with Ashley, I don't understand their relationship.

I don't understand their onscreen relationship anyway where they are just best buds.

So they had the gravitas of, of the local stuff too from the south metro Atlanta and into Atlanta, into Macon, and stuff like that.

So they had that going on.

So they got over with us more than the others did, but then Tag Team just blew up-

based out of Jacksonville, who had their version, Woot, there it is, W-O-O-T, which of the three songs was my favorite.

Javon Evans, I'm gonna be honest with you, for the first week, I didn't know how to score him.

Uh, so I ended up just giving him two points, because he had, like, a match that he... that he...

Law won, and then they restarted it, and it was a tag team match.

I'm going to be honest with you.

Again, RIP to Bill Dundee and Andy Williams, a.k.a. the Butcher from The Butcher and the Blade.

Now, this tag team was, they were something special.

They were truly a unique team.

You had these two big, beefy dudes from Buffalo.

Kurt Henning defeated Conan.

Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho.

The Giant and Scott Hall versus Sting and Bret Hart ended in a no contest in a match for the Tag Team Championships held by the Giant and Scott Hall.

Why this wound up in a no contest, I don't know.

And...

I like what we saw, but it really feels like this six-man tag team championship is very watered down right now.

Not the championship, but the sea of characters that want to challenge for this thing.

And we just had a multi-team match where Swerve and the new level won the titles.

They'll probably beat them because it makes a lot of sense and that really establishes them even more.

But yeah, not loving the influx of all these trios teams.

I still want to call them six-man tag teams, but whatever.

From there, segment in the back, Stephen Borden, Sting's son, with Darby Allin talking about what everything means.

The TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money Inc. defeated Eric Young and Johnny Divine.

Which is interesting.

Christian Cage defeated Booker T.

In a tag team tables match, Team 3D defeated Abyss and Rhino.

And in the main event, the TNA World Champion, Samojo, retained against Kurt Angle.

Abyss defeated Rhino in a Monsters Ball match.

Let's move ahead to the 60s, modern times, because...

The conventional wisdom about the Carolinas was that it was always a tag team territory.

And that's correct, because most of the main events, most of the big angles were centered around tag teams, and they had a revolving door of great tag teams.

I just listed some, but the Kentuckians, Grizzly Smith and Luke Brown.

The Bolos, who were the assassins, Joe Hamilton and Tom Ernesto everywhere else, but they'd had outlaw assassins in the territory, so they named them the Bolos.

and still the World Tag Champion, Jack Valentine and Nature Boy Red Fletch.

At that period of time, through the 60s and the early 70s, as we said, tag teams were featured.
