about, which is Sheamus leaving WWE.
Now, this is a bit of a wonky situation because Sheamus was reported in 2024 to have signed a contract extension with WWE.
Then it was a five-year contract extension, by the way, which would have kept him until 20, until 2029.
But then it got reported about, I think two days ago that he, I guess WWE had asked to take a pay cut or try to restructure his contract.
He ended up denying that to which then now it's being reported that he's going to be writing his contract out and that's going to be it.
He will not be returned to WWE.
So we don't know exactly when the guy's going to be leaving.
We're not sure between the next 90 days.
We're not sure if it's going to be within the next three years.
There's no actual confirmation because a lot of it right now is just all speculation as to what's going to be happening.
We do know that Sheamus was moved to the alumni section of WWE's official roster page.
And so at the very least, we can say that the guy most likely is gone unless WWE pulls like a R-Truth here and decides to say, you know what? So maybe we should end up keeping Sheamus.
Maybe we should give him the Intercontinental Championship because I think he is afforded that Intercontinental Championship.
He is one of WWE's best wrestlers of the 2000s.
And I think that he is a guy that should get a bit more respect from WWE.
But to be fair, I said the exact same thing about New Day and look what happened with them.
And they are officially gone from WWE.
So it's like, I mean...
I'm not surprised that WWE asked Sheamus to get a restructured contract.
I'm not surprised that WWE didn't want to keep Sheamus.
And I know people are saying that like, well, WWE shouldn't be asking people to restructure contracts and all this stuff.
They're a multi-billion dollar company.
You shouldn't be making excuses and all that.
I'll say this with this one.
I kind of understand it a bit more because Seamus was already hurt during WWE.
