Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox had a full-fledged sit-down confrontation at Stone's behest.

Montana appeared to lock the door behind him, telling Lennox he backed himself into a corner by mentioning his family.

When Dark State can't save him and a special guest enforcer, Michael Chandler, the UFC star, can't save him, that means Montana is going to unload his clip and thrive amid the chaos.

Dion countered that Cruz played right into his hands, getting pushed past his breaking point, all because of words.

Lennox said he always wanted the most vicious and focused version of Montana.

That way he can prove to everyone that he's different.

Lennox said his discipline would be the difference maker and he'd prove to Montana's daughter that he's nothing but a deadbeat dad who breaks promises.

But I love everything to do with Cruz Montana.

His name is Mike Santana, by the way.

I'm just saying.

I hate that name, Cruz Montana.

And then, of course, we will get into the NXT Halloween Havoc Ultimate Preview.

Cruz Montana got a tape backstage promo saying the worst part about last week was not being forced out of the arena or Dion Lennox thinking he won the first battle, but rather the fact that he flipped back to his old self for a second and wasn't proud to look at the man in the mirror, asking him to change his ways.

Montana promised nobody will be able to pull him off Lennox next time they throw hands, saying he committed a cardinal sin by evoking his family as his past will become Dion's future.

Lennox later bragged to Dark State about pushing Montana over the edge.

Then he laughed to Robert Stone about Cruz acquiescing to the detention because he was so used to getting arrested like that.

Stone ultimately agreed to an unsanctioned match with Lennox, promising Montana would finally hit rock bottom by the time he was done with him.

Excellent promo as usual from Montana, who may actually be underrated on the stick considering no one really talks about his proficiency.

Lennox was stronger than expected too.

And speaking of accomplishments, one of the biggest matches of your career came in late 2024 when you went one on one with former two time TNA world champion and current NXT star Mike Santana, a.k.a. Cruz Montana.

So what was that experience like for you?

It was a great experience.

It showed me where I was at and like in terms of like skill level and I was able to keep up with him and I'm like, all right, cool.

If I can keep up with him, I can keep up with some of the best out there.

And Santana, the first time I got to meet Mike Santana was at a Warrior Wrestling show at Cicero Stadium.

And you were there as well, helping out in the background.

We open with a bit of a different look at our main event.
