Next thing is gaming mouse industry, so kind of broadening it, broadening it a bit here too.
Yeah.
And I think we can start taking a little bit more questions, 'cause I wanted to get through kind of, like, your, you first.
Yeah.
But [laughs] is the mouse market becoming too saturated?
Um, yeah.
Yeah.
Um, there's, there's a few issues in there with that, but basically it, it's kind of like, I guess, the stock market a little bit.
Like, things go up, and things go down.
So it'll force innovation, but, like, there are problems with, like, these companies who clone mice and stuff like that, 'cause it's just, like, they're basically piggybacking off of, like, other people's R&D.
And so then they have, like, no overhead, and then they just make a cheaper product and undercut you and stuff like that.
And then a lot of times the average consumer won't understand, like, hey, like you guys are selling the same product, theirs is cheaper.
Why? You know, it's like, well, they don't have a team of people they have to pay, like, to come up with these things and to, to make these things.
So it's, it's definitely hard to explain, but at the same time I feel like people's pain, especially in this economy with, like, the way prices on everything are going.
Mm-hmm.
So it's, it's definitely some give and take.
take.So how do you as a business owner, not that you are anymore, but as a-
Right
... brand manager to some extent, how do you protect yourself against that?
Ah, it's, it's definitely difficult, but, uh, looking back to the, the reputable factory thing too helps because, like, uh, a lot of the bigger name factories and stuff like that will, like go to extra lengths, so like you have like your own floor of production.
No one else is allowed on it.
So like no one can come in there and just like see what you're working on and stuff like that.
'Cause like a lot of the factories are more open than you would think.
Like, people can just kinda walk in and like, "Oh yeah, I'm interested in making something here," and get a tour, and then now they see your stuff, you know? So that definitely hurts.
[laughs] And then I'll say basically coming up with something that's, um, like innovative as well on top of that, like-
