SERIES 2 EPISODE 3: TOP SIX CHARACTERS PART 3

Now then, I've done some German classes in the past and I'm absolutely rubbish at it, but...

I did learn some of the rules of pronunciation.

So the next character, which is a US character, has a German surname, so I'm going to do my best.

It's Salem Saberhagen.

If anybody can pronounce it better, tell me.

I thought they said Saberhagen in the...

Bearing in mind I saw it in the TV show.

Well, that would be an anger-sized version of the name, wouldn't it? But maybe that is his name.

We'll see.

But anyway, his name's Salem, which is really, I didn't even know about the other piece until you told me.

Right, he's a black, short-haired cat.

He's about 500 years old, and he was formerly a human warlock.

He's serving a 100-year sentence as punishment for trying to take over the world.

Yeah.

I would have thought 100 years wasn't enough, really.

I'd be leaving there for a long while.

Anyway, his character, he has a tendency to megalomania.

Well, that doesn't surprise you when he's trying to take over the world, does it? But nevertheless, he's got a good heart and he's a loyal friend...

To Sabrina, that's Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Now, I met Salem on the television programme having no idea that it was based on a comic story at all.

Never heard of Sabrina the Teenage Witch previously.

So I just met Salem there.

He was my favourite character.

Really, I just loved him.

He is a good character.
