I like the mix of pragmatism that you put there.

You cut right through the noise to the parameters of the agreement.

I want to talk a little bit about Manchester Trade now.

So I'd like the origin story there.

Manchester Trade, you provide a sovereign economic advisory.

So now you have to, you know, at times you seem to stand 10,000 feet high and sort of look down and try to get things right at the macro level.

But you're a details guy.

So I'd like to know a little bit more about manchester trade the origins how it functions and sort of um you know how you get these things done

Well, I'm 85 years old, so we're not nearly as active as we were 20, 30 years ago.

We've been in business for, God, we started in 19, let's just say it's around for you in 1986, 19, 19, 1985 I think, so we've been in a long time.

I think we're the oldest trade advisory firm.

I've been very lucky, but I've had one partner with me for like 30 years.

He's very methodical.

He's very organized.

I'm not very methodical.

I'm not very organized.

As you can see by this conversation, we seem to be hopping around a little bit.

He's an expert in Latin America.

I did a lot of work with Europe and Japan in my career now.

I do more work in Africa and so on.

I think first, we don't take any client.

We have to have some philosophical agreement with them before we would take them on as a client.

A lot of firms don't do that.

They, you know, whoever hires, they work.
