Like it is something I've thought about.
Do
you retrofit your own house now?
No.
I actually renovated this house in 2021, obviously before I did the course.
You don't want to go and undo all that? No.
Sell it, cash in, build it.
But the things
I wish I knew then… Or now, I wish I knew then.
Yeah.
I would have built it a little bit differently.
Do you know what I think we are? Like I've used this example before.
Like we've – this is about three or four years ago now.
We renovated our past house over seven years.
And as we were doing the extension out the back, you know, I'm peeling – corrugated roof sheets off the pop-out extension we did to the bathroom where it was just foil insulation stuck immediate to the frame disintegrated too and then i just screwed metal cladding straight over the top of it yeah and i'm like hey this is the elevation of my building company you know this is what we used to do and this is what we're doing now
yeah oh and like you could ask any chibi like probably over the age of 30 and they've done the same thing
So I want to go – you said educated-based marketing.
It's a really interesting conversation because – I don't want to say this.
Just say it, man.
No, no, no, no, no.
This isn't actually – but I think – What I see a lot of people, and this is probably feed, not feedback, but a train of thought to think about is when we talk educated based marketing, who we, okay, let's edge it at education and marketing.
Who are you trying to educate is one.
So Hamish and I have the ability to be able to now educate to clients because that's what we build for, but to trades because ultimately we bring them into them or builders, we bring them into the mindful builder.
Now, the biggest issue I see with that is when you've got younger builders educating on certain things, it's like they're educating, it's like they're marketing to trades, not to the client.
And a lot of their social media is like showing real technicalities on how to do stuff, which is great.
Like it is something I've thought about.
