I think the first one we've got DEFRA opens the Farmer Welfare Grant, worth 1.5 million.
I was reading up on this because it sounds great, doesn't it? Like, obviously, there's a huge concern around farmer welfare at the moment, and it's tough out there, as we discussed on the last podcast for everybody.
1.5 million, is it, that's meant to be targeted? Is it gonna get down to the hands of farmers? That's what I'm really trying to work out, or will it be more organization? I, I basically, I read the document and went, "How do I, how do I get to it?" I feel like I, I'm a farmer that needs some welfare.

I think it's good that they've identified FCN as one of the partners because I think they do some great work, um, as we've spoken about before.

Uh, but actually fi- 1.5 million across the farmers in the UK at the moment with what they're up against is, is actually not a lot of money per person, is it?
No, it's, um, it's a lovely headline figure, isn't it? And, and don't get me wrong, like, grateful for any support that we can get, particularly at the moment as, as the challenge is that we're gonna, gonna talk about.
All I f- all I found out from reading the, the briefing was that we have to register for a we- webinar, which is out on Thursday between, I think it's between, like, 11:00 and 1:00 or something, and then they're gonna give you more information.
But it does sound like a lot of the money is gonna be going to organizations like FCN who do, do great work.

So I think, you know, if it's supporting mental health and farming, we've spoken a lot about that, I think that's really important.

But actually, let's have some farmers involved in, in how that's accessed, I think.
And as you said perfectly there, long term, it's like you can't just give, give somebody a shot and then be like, "We're gonna take that away."
