Recognizing and Resisting the Nafs: The Battle Within | Shaykh Sa’ad Quadri

The topic of the conversation tonight is the war within.

And there is honestly, this entire dunya is a big war now.

It's not about the war in Iran, it's not about the war in other places.

there's a war taking place.

Individual wars are taking place.

And these individual wars, they are really the impetus, the catalyst of the coming of the Day of Judgment.

And that Day of Judgment, you're going to have one of the greatest figures of opposition to the Prophet ﷺ, that's the jinn.

And the jinn is going to come towards the Day of Judgment, and he's going to make himself appear.

And what is he going to try to do? He's going to try to imitate.

He's going to try to mimic.

And initially it starts with Prophet Kingdom and Prophethood.

Then he's trying to mimic Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

And what will he try to do? He's going to try to mimic Allah.

He's going to try to fake these types of miracles and fake these types of capabilities so people believe in him and accept him as God.

And that imitation, what is going to happen? There's going to be a spiritual warfare and there's going to be a physical warfare against Dajjal.

There'll be a three-day war.

The fourth day, he's going to cease to exist.

But it's going to be a three-day war.

Every day, that battle is going to be extremely intense.

And the intensity of the battle is such that if a bird tried to go from one side of the battlefield to the other, it would be cut down.

While the intensity of that war... is part and parcel of the spiritual reality of that war as well.

If we look at Badr, Badr the Muslims were outnumbered 1,000 to 300.

They were outnumbered pretty much 3 to 1.

You can say 313, there's numbers of 309, 308, whatever the case may be.

Approximately 300 to approximately 1,000.
