Markin’ Out Episode #808

You know? We got Monday Night Raw taking place.

Kicking off with Obafemi and Brock Lesnar doing their weigh-in, which was like, I don't know.

It didn't do much for me.

I always absolutely hate weigh-in segments in pro wrestling.

I don't care about them.

I mean, I don't watch other sports that do weigh-in segments.

I just think they're the dumbest thing because regardless of how much you weigh, you're still wrestling.

There's no weight class like that.

If there was a weigh-in for 205 Live, that makes sense.

But you had Triple H out there.

You had Adam Pearce out there.

The Hell in a Cell lowered.

And instead of getting into the ring with Obafemi and all of them, Brock locked the cage.

And Paul Heyman called Oba Femi the underdog in that match, and he said Brock has never lost inside that Hell in a Cell.

I don't think this needed to be a weigh-in segment to have everything that they had in this.

And honestly, it wasn't a terrible segment.

I mean, I didn't understand why he locked him into the cage.

They

had all of these security guards and police officers, whatever they were, in the cage with Oba, and then Lesnar locked him in there.

I really I didn't understand that either.

And they said

that he weighed in backstage without an official.

I mean, who was officially

there to watch him weigh in besides Paul Heyman? And Obafemi told Brock Lesnar that at SummerSlam, he'll be locked in the cage with him, not the other way around.

And then it made no sense.
