Sachin Latti spent two decades in law enforcement looking, from the outside, like a guy who had it together. On the inside, he was going through a divorce, suicidal, and standing in an empty customs…
Why do you think that you had that moment? Because you obviously, you've had a moment that most people don't.
And I think that hopefully a lot of people listening are maybe wondering, how do they get to that moment?
Look, man, I was struggling with my mental health, right? And as a guy, I was in my early 40s at the time.
Like I'm getting up and working and I was going through a separation and a divorce.
And, you know, I was kind of presented with the person that I actually was rather than the person that I thought I was.
I thought I was this tough guy and, you know, I thought I could do a whole bunch of things.
And to be honest, my ego was pretty inflated for really the lack of accomplishments that I had in my life.
Like a lot of things weren't really going positive, right? And I was just sitting at work and that thought came to me.
And so what am I doing now that is preventing me from living the way I want to live? And so that's kind of what started a lot of things.
And I just thought, what's the point? Like, what am I doing? And so I started thinking, okay, what do I actually wanna do? Like, what do I wanna do? And that came down to, at the time, you know, let me try these ultras.
Let me see if I can serve the community in a different type of way by raising awareness and funds for veterans and first responders struggling with mental health.
