[rain falling] It was a rainy evening in Hong Kong, a rooftop strewn with the dead, fresh blood mingling with the Heaven's tears.
Two living people walked among the dead, a study in opposites.
[footsteps] One figure was tall and gaunt, pacing back and forth with the aid of his cane.
He let the rain fall upon him, his umbrella discarded.
This was Sir Raphael Moriarty, the president of the Amadeus Foundation.
The second figure was short and heavyset, stoic amidst the falling water.
She clung tightly to her umbrella.
This was Dr. Trung Anh.
Horrible.
If our flight hadn't been delayed, we might have been killed too.
