Chizuko Mifune

Oh, I plan to come back to study some of the bigger stuff here, but right now I was up against the clock.

A lost sheaf of writings by the late psychic Chizuko Mifune had turned up in the city of Gifu, allegedly containing information about the Hamadani Codex.

If I played my cards right, they might be a clue to my ongoing translation project, but for now, this lady was blocking my way.

[speaking Japanese]

They're in a constant state of flux, but I can see the general shape, and I think that if I can compare what they looked like during Rashid al-Din's time with how they are today, it might give me an idea of how and why supernatural things are happening.

But it's so indirect in the book, so I need to decode it before I can do any of this.

It's like linear algebra and non-linear algebra had a baby, and there's some papers around here by Chizuko Mifune that may help me with my translation, which is why I came.

So you are actually doing research and not just getting into trouble.
