Kyron KrugerGuestKate KennedyHostVera BeaufordGuestSo the problem is that even though it's 2026, we still do live in a world where people, especially those in power, misrepresent and attack communities that they do not understand.
Where identities are politicized, stigma is still very loud, and misinformation shapes how people see things like sex work and kink, sexual preference, and gender.
Um, when people hear these labels, they think of stereotypes that they've seen from movies or maybe, like, heard a story from a friend of a friend.
You know, like, they think of a sex worker, and they think of Julia Roberts tragically, like, walking down a street offering $50 for a blow job.
So then you think of, like, a trans person, and you... all you hear is Donald Trump telling you that these people are very mentally unwell, and more of a danger to your children than, like, the actual pedophiles running the country right now.
You don't even know how far ahead of the game you are when you are coming to events like this just to, like, listen and hear these people's real stories, actually get a proper understanding.
Like, you're miles ahead of most people in this world, and all I can say is thank you so much for coming here.
We're gonna ask questions, and hopefully you see something, even maybe in yourself, a little bit differently by the end of it.
How did you guys, one by one we're gonna go, how did you first get drawn into the sex industry?
