Main Street Talk - A Disney World Podcast
Jul 27, 2026 · 29 min · 13 segments
This week on Main Street Talk, we kick things off with the latest Walt Disney World news, including updated showtimes for Happily Ever After and Fantasmic!, construction progress at Piston Peak and…
I'll get into the Fantasmic part when we get to Hollywood Studios, but as far as Happily Ever After, currently it's performed at 10 p.m. nightly.
This nighttime spectacular is scheduled for this time through at least September 19th.
So that would mean that the vertical construction is going to be starting very soon.
But this tower crane, yeah, that would signal that they're going to start building upwards.
The big stuff.
Yeah.
Portraits of Courage, consisting of oil paintings by President George W. Bush, ran for two years from June 2024 through the 4th of July of this year.
And over at Hollywood Studios, getting back to Fantasmic Time Change, it will continue to perform at 9 p.m. every day and 10.30 p.m. on Friday and select Saturdays through August 22nd.
Beginning on August 23rd, it will perform at 8.30 p.m. daily and 10 p.m. on Fridays, Sundays, and Tuesdays.
And then from September 18th, that 10 p.m. performance will move up to 9.30. Also at Hollywood Studios, the scaffolding continues to expand frontwards at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, making it even more visible to guests from the Sunset Boulevard.
I think they are just doing some touch-ups and some refurbs to the queue for Tower of Terror.
And the large tree outside of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular has been removed from the mysterious Project Fedora that nobody seems to know anything about.
To remind you of this, the off-site guests are now being held at Discovery Island instead of the Oasis to free up congestion there.
Mm-hmm.
