I had previously covered Mississippi State the, the fir- you know, two weeks before that, uh, at South Carolina, so I got to see them there.

So, uh, very, very knowledgeable about what they're doing on both sides of the football.

Y'all know also how I feel about Keylon, uh, Keylan Russell, uh, on the other side for Alabama.

Th- that was my number two and three quarterbacks in the SEC heading into this past weekend, and, uh, the game did not produce the excitement, uh, at least for one team as we thought it would be.

I'm gonna start with Alabama's offense first against Mississippi State's defense, and we'll flip it to the other side and talk a little Mississippi State offense versus Alabama's defense.

Dominant, well-balanced, six and nine on third downs, 483 yards total, uh, 4.8 yards per carry.

And before we really get into, to Keylan Russell and just how good he is, you know, there was a back I talked about, this was during the Kentucky game, and he started flashing then.

And you saw the explosiveness back in that Kentucky game when he got in there, like, "Whoa, where, who's this number 17 guy?" Like, we've been talking about Corwell and Daniel Hill and, you know, obviously the quarterback's ability to run the football, but there was just something different when 17 started getting some touches, and you saw it in this game.

And, you know, Alabama really has a nice stable of running backs, but this freshman to me feels like he is that guy, should be the lead, um, bell cow there at the running back position.

So, um, if you're an Alabama fan, man, like I said you love all those running backs, but number 17 what a git, uh, as a young pup to go out there and do what he's doing early on this season.

Um, so now that we have the running backs out of the way, let's talk quarterbacks.

And, and, and right now we have one of the best quarterbacks in college football.

Obviously I said we, we'll, we'll talk about that at the end of the show, but man his, his ability to run a decisive, the accuracy, uh, the back shoulder throws.
