A lot of folks are intrigued on where Alex Golish's team is going to go next.

I think it was a really important week of practice for that offensive line that gave up seven sacks.

in the ball game, so I don't know of any changes right now up front, but I think they're looking at everything up front.

But as far as I can tell, Cole, I think Auburn came out of that game pretty healthy, pretty healthy ball club.

What would you make – and look, I might disagree slightly with the Byron Brown.

I would love to just kind of hear your description of that room, what you've seen, where you think it is right now.

All right, Cole, you were 100% right about Josh Ford.

That dude is a beast, and he is an absolute tone setter there on the edge.

It's like a big freaking offensive lineman, what he's able to do with defensive ends, just turn them and plant them in the ground.

So it's just kind of been an ongoing friendship with that whole group of fellas for the last 10 years.

They just remind me a lot of my college buddies, like my best friends.

So that group, Cole and Mac, I kind of compare it to you guys and the SEC Network crew.

Y'all are like these groups I just love seeing a couple times, three, four times a year that I get to see you guys, you know?

Health-wise, where is this team right now?

Cole, as far as I can tell, this is a healthy football team.

I didn't see any, you know, catastrophic injuries or anything like that in the ballgame.

They just remind me a lot of my, like my college buddies, like my best friends.

So that group Cole and Mac, I'll kind of compare it to like you guys and the SEC network crew.

Y'all are like these groups.

I just love seeing a couple of times, three, four times a year that I get to see you guys, you know,

and drive down the field a little bit and throw a pick.

So they were playing with fire, and once Kentucky got going, they got burnt.

My concern, Cole, and number one is Marcel without a strong running game and with a rebuild to the line, which was your concern, my concern, everybody going into the season.

It's more so now because I think it's – a little further behind than I'd hoped it would be.

I mean, I thought Jesse Palmer was really good on Saturday.

You know, I think Cole Cubelic's really good.

I think, uh, uh, we don't, uh, we don't have Herb Street very much, so I don't really hear a ton of his games for Kentucky, but those guys have gotten a bunch of our games.

But to me, Greg McElroy is my favorite one.

Uh, the best performance they'd had in terms of yards per play was against LSU, so they were able to rise to the occasion.

I remember talking to Cole Cubelic this off-season.

We were at a, a function together, and we started talking about the Ole Miss defensive front.

And very few people in our sport know, uh, line play on both sides of lines of scrimmage, not to mention just football period, better than Cole does.

What in God's name were you doing in Sky Bar on Friday night?

That's a good question, Cole.

There was a little function across the street, and I misunderstood that.

Marion Crowder and Matt Berry, they noticed that I had not had a chance to eat because I was talking to some people.

So I said, great.

And as I crossed the street, I realized I was walking into a den of 18-year-old testosterone times a million.

You went up there and the next thing you know, I mean, listen, I don't need to explain it to you, Cole.

Many people were listening.

Then you watch the eyeball test on them.

You go, are they really playing that well up front? Then Cole Kubelik, when you talk to him, he likes this line better than I think my eyeballs like this line.

We're going to find out about this line this week, and we're going to see what they really can do.
