Seth joins Rev and Reed to talk about Nostr Valley, the annual Central Pennsylvania gathering he and Derek Ross have grown from a patched-together first year at Happy Valley Brewing into a free…
I do want to get all of the exact details about when this, when this meetup is happening, when this event's happening and you know, what, if you got any, um, you know, content lined up.
But before that, there's several things that we kind of touched on already.
And, you know, David Bennett of the Bitcoin And podcast is like, do not wear, you're going to get fucking stabbed to death.
But really, you know, When you're in a small town like where I'm at, this only, in my mind, creates opportunities like what you just presented.
Because you had that Bitcoin hat on, you realized that Derek Ross was right in your neighborhood and now you're at the Bitcoin meetup because of it and everything.
And then here comes Nostra Valley out of that whole thing.
And I'm wearing it around.
And I'm like, by the way, I do a Bitcoin meetup in South Bend, you should come, you know, and not all the time does that does that convert into somebody coming to the meetup.
But when it does, it typically ends up being somebody that you are very glad to have met.
Maybe you have something on that cell phone in your pocket, right?

I think it's just pure marketing.

Because my experience, IRL, when you talk to the sort of normie crew that exists out there, and I've tried it over the years, especially early on, you go deep and you're like, You know, when you're first learning about Bitcoin, you're like trying to tell everyone, oh, listen to this, you know, and they're like, I don't care.
You know, it's like or you tell them about it and they're like, yeah, that's a that's a volatile asset and I'm not going to get into that.
And it's like, OK.
And at this point, I don't say I've given up, but, you know, I don't necessarily lead the conversation with it.
