And it really was, uh, from the perspec- I, not long after that, about a year after that, I was accepted into ATF and, uh, spent time in that class.

And obviously, I met, you know, Derek Ross and some of the other people in my class.

And, um, I was really immersed.

I mean, I knew the suicide statistics, and obviously, you know, my first wife, um, had taken her own life and died in my arms when I was 23.

My name is Derek Ross and I do developer relations for Noster.

Noster, in one short sentence, it's an open protocol for communication and identity that nobody controls.

It's very similar to Bitcoin.

It's gonna take the actions of all of us to navigate along that journey.

So I'm gonna end with a segue into tomorrow's episode, which is a chat with my friend Derek Ross on Nostr.

Mr. Buttsack, you had the comment here that you don't like the attention economy, and as the attention economy and essentially how we consume information, how we... what shapes our thoughts and actions transforms, questions are gonna be have to be asked about all of these media platforms.

That's what Nostr is, okay? That's what Nostr at least has the potential to be, but I still have questions on how it works, what are its full potential potentially beyond just media, because there's very interesting AI angles to it as well.

Um, and Mr. Derek Ross is kind of the Mr. Nostr.

He's kind of like taken it upon himself to start, through his actions, right, start nurturing the ecosystem, start sharing with people the potential, and he's gonna come on the chat, come on the show, and, uh, I'm looking forward to it, okay? And I happen to run into a bar with a Bitcoin hat on and guys like, hey, this guy's he's a local guy.

You know, don't wear your Bitcoin shit out in public.

But really, you know, When you're in a small town like where I'm at, this only, in my mind, creates opportunities like what you just presented.

Because you had that Bitcoin hat on, you realized that Derek Ross was right in your neighborhood and now you're at the Bitcoin meetup because of it and everything.

And then here comes Nostra Valley out of that whole thing.
