Scardust

They're a mellow dust band, but they use a lot of keys and stuff in their music, a lot of piano work.

Scardust played from Israel.

They were amazing.

They're the very first US show cool.

It smashed together a whole bunch of aspects of this Value for Value concept where there was...

I think the premier showcase of it was this Value for Value concert, headlined by ScarDust, which was great.

And then I think Abel James was an opener, as well as George, who...

George is involved in the local Chicago scene.

And I'll mention another single also that just came out.

The band Scar Dust, who we got to see at Prog Power.

has released a single I think it came out actually while we were there also called Symphony and this is a cover from the band Clean Bandit who I had not heard of but I actually listened to the song in anticipation of Prog Power because I knew it was on their set list recently.

And so I listened to the original version to familiarize myself with the cover version.

And the studio version came out about a week ago with Mia Asano playing the violin as a guest.

Really interesting.

kind of a really upbeat poppy symphonic cover track that, um, I think really lends well to scar dust sound.

And it was cool to hear them perform it live, uh, at Prague power.
