We, uh, started with black last time on the commons and uncommons review, and we will mirror that here in the rare and mythic review.
That's one and a black for a 2/1 legendary human spy hero at mythic, and she's got menace.
And whenever Black Widow deals com- Widow deals combat damage to a player, that player exiles cards from the top of their library until they exile a nonland card.
If you don't, you may cast the exiled nonland card until end of turn and mana of any type can be spent to cast that spell.
Uh, just [sighs] two mana, 2/1 menace that whenever it hit them got a +1/+1 counter, that'd be a B-level card.
It's just so threatening and really hard to block, right? And especially on the turns of the game you're most scared to see it, which is turn two.
Add to that, that it also has, like, the Ragavan ability of, like, you can play this card instead of the pl- getting the +1/+1 counter.
You have to pay for it, but any color of mana means you're, you're often gonna be- look at this card and, and just be like, 80% of the time, +1/+1 counter.
20% of the time, play an actual spell off the top of their deck, like a removal spell or, or a creature or what- whatever it is.
A, it's- It's not quite like the top-of-the-bottom scale because it, it ultimately is a two-one, and sometimes the middle of the game it won't do that much.
But cards that just threaten to end the game or at least give you a significant advantage early, that, that does kinda factor in, and Black Widow's really good at that.
