Game 11: Devils Vs Kings (Game Day Live!)

What did you make of the roster moves today? So, obviously, they're going to be – Lombardi's coming back in, which obviously made a ton of sense.

They actually don't have a 13th forward because the salary caps.

So Lombardi obviously comes in.

But Dillon's coming in for Chisholm.

So I'm curious how that plays out.

Dilly's a pro.

He's a pro's pro.

He's the man.

But they have also been trying to groom Chisholm as a player who – They want to play a lot, and so I thought it was interesting.

He got his first goal.

He started to look like he was coming into his own on his onside, which is his left side.

But at the same time, he got Dilley there.

$4 million, annual AAV, and he's just a pro's pro, and I'm excited to see how that plays out tonight.

I'm interested to see how the D pairs go.

Do you think they keep the top four there, and then they put Dillon with Kovacevic? Or in the past, Seegs and Kovacevic worked pretty well, and then Dillon and Hamilton worked pretty well.

So, like, let's see how that plays out.

I'm curious about that for tonight.

You know, I think a lot of it is it's part of the process.

I don't think Dylan actually got benched benched.

It's a numbers game.

They wanted to get Kovacevic ramped up, right? He was not healthy.

They're like, we want to give you a few games.

So, like, Dylan just has to sit there.

And it sucks because the Devils have seven NHL defensemen on their roster right now.

Yep.
