Eric LevineHostSo the other night, gentlemen, we had what may be one of the most important gubernatorial debates in the history of the state of New York.
Is New York going to survive and flourish, or is it going to become another California? That is something that's on the cusp of being a failed state.
Failed policies, left-wing democratic policies in the state of California have ruined that economy.
Things are so bad, they're chasing out all the productive people, the taxpayers, the job creators, the solid citizens who make the state of California great.
And now they want to impose a wealth tax on the citizens, and they want to chase the people down who leave because they're sick and tired of being taxed to death and getting nothing for it in terms of public safety, law and order, good environment, and a workable government.
Now, why do I talk about California? Because don't assume that the state of New York is immune from that phenomena of bad Democratic Party politics and policies.
The state legislature and the assembly is totally controlled by the Democrats.
But thankfully, because of the great work of people like Jesse Garcia and Bob Board, the leader, the minority leader, and George Borrello, who runs the campaigns, They've been able to have one vote more they need to stop a supermajority in the state Senate.
Kathy Hochul has shown herself time and time again to be weak and under the control and influence of the radical left.
She talks about public safety, but she's behind the no bail laws, the raise the age laws, the early parole issues.
Energy, she imposes all kinds of stringent requirements so we don't have energy independence.
You go across the border to Pennsylvania, they have energy independence, less taxes, they're doing better, and you have a choice of energy.
If you run out of energy, then how is society supposed to function? She's opposed and delayed AI.
Artificial intelligence or super intelligence, as President Trump calls it, is absolutely essential to make the whole system work.
If that doesn't take a place in a timely manner, the Chinese will control it.
