Julie Baker: Stupid News, Colorado & ADHD

I was in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's capital this past week.

And people have said before that it's like a different cold when you're out east, that there's more humidity so it feels colder.

And being a prairie guy, when we get to minus 40 in Celsius, I was like, yeah, it's not going to be bad.

I was out in like minus 10 and of course had my shorts on to film stuff.

And I was freezing.

May I pause you and ask a question that will soothe my American mind? Because we're in Fahrenheit down here.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So I'm assuming negative 40 degrees Celsius is like one degree?

Negative 40 Celsius is negative 40 Fahrenheit.

Negative...

What? Yeah, that's where the two meet.

Negative 40 Celsius and negative 40 Fahrenheit.

That's where they finally meet.

I didn't even know they met.

Not that this is incredible, you know, really thought-provoking information for the

audience today.

So like 14 degrees Fahrenheit is negative 10 Celsius.

Who knew? You,

obviously.

But I went to school in America.

Google knew.

Yeah.

And I should be better at these conversions because my wife is American.

So, like, we will talk to each other.

Like, we'll flip the things on our phones to be able to say the temperature to each other because neither one of us understands the other's nonsense.
