So one question that I received, Mamesh Mamesh recently, I received a similar question a couple of years ago.
But now this question came up again, and we're learning now all about the halachs of the Beis Hamikdash.
And the question that was asked was, will the third Beis Hamikdash have modern interventions, central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, electric lights, sound systems, elevators, all of that kind of stuff.
When he will come, Moshe and Aaron will be with us and they'll teach us exactly what to do.
but we will explore what the potential possible questions i want to start with one of the issues and move on from there to the general issue about inventions in general the issue about underground heating specifically i will mention that has to do with two there are two questions one is are you allowed to make a change to the structure of the base and another part of the question is about heating in a shul.
There were shuls in the past that had a custom not to allow heating in a shul.
Some Pesachim, however, preferred to have underground heating in a shul, and that has a lot of bearing on the Beis Hamikdash.
So let's go, the Beis Hamikdash did have heating, but that was not in the non-holy section.
So we have a general halacha that we know the har habayis is supposed to be hallow.
It's a discussion that we need to understand about the Mechilos, the tunnels underneath the Beis Hamikdash.
The Pasuk says about the Beis Hamikdash, hakel b'ch'sav miyad Hashem olay hiskel, everything was given in writing.
There was a Megillah as Beis Hamikdash, a particular scroll that was given from generation to generation, how the Beis Hamikdash is supposed to be.
And as part of the rule of Hakal Beksav, the Gemara says in a few places you can't make any changes to the Beis Hamikdash because of Hakal Beksav.
Now this rule applies to the first Beis Hamikdash, to the second, and it clearly applies to the third.
The Rambam talks about this clearly in his introduction to Masech Beis Hamikdash.
