Episode 500 - Celebration for 500th : Be an Astro Detective

Four simple steps to broadcast your message to the entire connected planet.

It was a very, what's the word, big promise that the author made.

So four simple steps to broadcast your message to the entire connected planet.

I can't read the words underneath there.

Even if you don't really know what podcasting is.

Yeah, that was it.

Because I think that was the thing that attracted me.

So this is 2016 that I bought the e-book.

It cost me $2.99. And it was written by a guy called Paul Colligan, C-O-L-L-I-G-A-N.

And I listened, I read it and I thought, oh, that's interesting.

I'd love to do a podcast on astrology.

So I read the book.

I emailed him and this is in 2016.

I emailed him and I sort of pointed out something that's one of the links he'd sent me to a weird place.

And did he know that? Blah, blah, blah, blah.

Read the book and then I started the podcast using the software that came.

I run a Mac Mini, so I'm on my third Mac Mini now.

But I ran a Mac Mini, which I still run now.

And I had one of those sort of, it looked like airport microphone-y things that go down by the side of your face.

I still got some YouTube videos with them on there.

So I started with the equipment that came with my Mac.

Didn't come with it, I bought it.

Because I used to have a bit of software that was like dictation software.

That was grand.

I can't get that anymore.
