Episode 176: Pull his pants up

Okay, let's jump in- right into our WIPs.

And I know you have a WIP.

I have a WIP.

Well, I don't know-

I mean, I've listened, but I've never done it before.

[laughs] Uh, so I'm still working on my Jones Cardigan for the baby, for, for, uh, Quentin.

And last time, I had just picked up, uh, to do the button band, and I blocked it just to make sure that it's wide enough, because it was looking very skinny.

He is very skinny now.

He is skinny, but still, um, I blocked it and it did, um, loosen up and widen up a bit, and then I did, uh, the shawl collar a little wider, and also the button band a bit wider than, than what the pattern calls for.

Uh, and I f- I finished the f- left sleeve.

I'm gonna rip this out because, because it's not, um, wide.

Well, it's just wide enough now, and if he ha- if he was wearing something underneath, I don't think it would be comfortable, especially down where I've, uh, decreased.

So I'm gonna rip out the sleeve, um, add a couple more stitches, and then not do as many decreases, 'cause you can really see how, how much is, how much decreasing I did.

You can really see that slant.

It doesn't-

I have that skinny of a wrist.

No, and also when I picked up the stitches, there was a lot, a lot of room where I thought, "Well, I could probably c- pick up a few more stitches."
