We're going to start the show, as always, with the first segment, which is pull up a chair.
And as always, I like to start with a listener's question because it's great.
And I've got loads of questions now, but keep them coming.
If you want to submit them, please jump into our Discord server, which you can find the links in the show notes below.
And, yeah, become a member of the Just Play server and, yeah, start submitting questions there or on the YouTube comments or on the socials, all the usual stuff, really.
Yeah, so I'd love you to do that.
But the question I have is actually from Alex B. from our Facebook socials.
And he's asked what my favorite Too Many Bones box is and why and my favorite gear lock in each box or expansion, I assume.
So thank you for the question, Alex.
And those that do know, Too Many Bones is literally my favorite game and most played game.
So it's good to always talk about this.
So I'm going to go through all of the main boxes of Too Many Bones, sharing my favorite gear lock, and then I will kind of highlight my favorite kind of Too Many Bones expansion box.
So, base game.
We have four gear locks in the base game.
We've got Pickett.
We've got Boomer.
We've got Patches and Tantrum.
Tantrum is actually my favourite out of the base game.
I love how Tantrum is basically a berserker.
The artwork is this really small... a gear lock character um but his rage is is massive like he he's just this really angry little dude and the way his rage mechanic works is basically you have to be an accountant to make it work but when you do you can cause devastation on the map and it's just bloody great fun to play so base game's tantrum um in the too many bones undertow box which is one of the main uh campaign expansions um stanza is my favorite she's the bard um she has a really cool mechanism where She can basically start songs, spending her focus, and literally songs will kind of play through their sections, which is basically sides of a dice.
And depending on how much focus you have, you can have multiple songs kind of kicking off at once.
And they're going to create buffs for the party or debuffs for...
the baddies and things.
It's just mechanically bloody brilliant fun to play.
In Unbreakable, which is, I think, the latest box that actually contains gear locks, that has Gale and Figment.
