Apex Legends

We're about to do it again.

Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to go through and draft our fantasy football team with Apex Legends.

Now, here are the positions.

Um, but actually, I'm sad Chris doesn't remember this, but after I came on, and I think we were talking about, like, Apex Legends and a couple mobile games, Chris, you called me and were like, "I need you on the podcast because you're articulate, and we need somebody to basically call out Mishka all the time."

Like, or, "Here's the, the real take." And then all of a sudden, like those are moments that like imprint in my mind because it pushed me to think differently.

So like for example, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty Mobile, Apex Legends, all of those moments, having that, like someone reach out and really correct me, that's really moments that really stuck out to me, changed me.

I first followed your channel way back, um, and I think it was the Apex Legends content you did, uh, for Glass Cannon Unplugged.

Battlefield 6 is another one.

Probably Borderlands 4 is another one.

Jayhawk mentioned it about like your coach kind of resetting you guys on a recent day.

I don't know if I wanted to, if this is too early to get into this, but like the question I've been really wanting to ask you, I think your come up in Apex to where you're at now and like, especially alongside Carter is, has been more of an interesting one compared to, I think, most pros because I feel like the typical pathway for pro players is you're really good mechanically, really good skilled, you might compete in CC or show up in ranked.

Someone scouts you and you get put onto a bigger team or a team with someone who's a big name and then you build up your brand through there, right? Whereas you and Carter, in a long time when you guys had Riley last year, you guys were a team that came out of CC...

got into pro league with like, where like no one ever really respects those teams at first, but then like kept showing the improving yourself week after week to the point.

But it's I think it's very rare for that to happen to this team.

I think we're in a good spot.

That's awesome to hear because, again, it's been one of the better stories I think we've seen this year and really recent time with Apex.

I wanted to go specifically to your sort of how it's gone with Carter, I think, through your competitive history.
