Android: Netrunner

Yeah, and I feel like it started, I remember back 15 years ago, Card Game DB and with like Deck Builders in that era where like Card Game DB, right, was before the modern version of Deck Builders.

was the original.

Because it's not a game that, it reminds me a little bit of how I feel about Magical Athlete.

It's not the same level, but Magical Athlete is a board game that apparently was not designed by Richard Garfield, but updated by Richard Garfield.

But like heavily, heavier than Lucas and Netrunner.

I think it was a very heavy redesign.

Uh, what else did we other car game? Oh, ashes.

And then the next one that was another unholy relic of, uh, Android, uh,

Netrunner.

Remember, we touched on Spycraft.

And I probably didn't get the board game bug until, well, I played a bit of Magic when I was, that would have been around like 96, 95, 96.

Played a bit of Magic and I played the next game that Richard Garfield released called Netrunner, the Netrunner CCG.

No spoilers, but we might be talking about that at some point in the future.

So this is the Fantasy Flight version that came out in, I guess, 2012-ish, something like this.

And I will never leave because it's awesome.

So when I opened my games, my first game started in 2008.

The hottest game out there was Game of Thrones card game.

Not the remake with the four decks that you get, but, you know, the trading card game version.

And all those guys played Game of Thrones in my store from 2008 to 2012 until Android Netrunner came out.

They gave up on Game of Thrones, and they all played the Netrunner in the back of the store.
