So the first question that we've got is actually from our Discord channel, from one of our listeners, Martin.
And he basically says, speaking of campaign games, long-time listeners might remember me saying that I've had enough of them for a while.
And he was pleased to hear that I was revisiting the Rise of Fenris campaign, which is a scythe, and what basically made me change my mind.
I still, to be honest, great question, Martin.
I still think...
I'm still kind of not a big campaign game, board game player.
So when I see these big box campaigns that are on crowdfunding, they totally put me off now because I've just I ended up buying them so much, fill up my Kallax shelves and then ended up, you know, starting them and just get into the whole quagmire of, oh, yeah, great.
I've got to organize things.
30 sessions with friends and that's always easy to do isn't it you know trying to align calendars and nights and this thing's going to take me three years to complete and I just I still feel that way about most stuff but I think what's kind of slightly changed is when I was playing Earthborne Rangers or when I bought Earthborne Rangers I knew that was a campaign style games card game And I decided to do that solo because I thought, well, I can then do it on my own terms and I can kind of schedule it one-on-one.
And that worked really well to the point where I've actually finished the base campaign.
I've not done Legacies of Ancestors yet.
That's coming.
But yeah, it basically made that whole thing accessible.
So I'm not turned off to campaign games yet.
And Scythe is a fun one because when I played the Rise of Fenris campaign for the first time around, which was, I don't know, six years ago, I had such a blast with it.
I've always wanted to do it again.
And it's kind of been hard to get the right group and the right mix of people who wanted to do it.
And some of the players I've never... kind of gone through that experience.
So this was just the perfect opportunity to do it.
So I think the answer to the question is I'm not fully turned off.
I still will dabble in some campaign style games, but it's likely to be more solo than it will be doing it with lots of friends.
But there you go.
There's a question.
And thank you for raising that, Martin.
